The 2017 WIRSA State Conference was hosted by the University of Wisconsin-Parkside in Kenosha, WI from October 4-6.  Margaret Domka, Educational Director for Referee Magazine and the National Association of Sports Officials, joined as the keynote speaker bringing 25 years of soccer officiating experience including highlights as the only American official selected to work the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Canada.  The WIRSA Service Award was presented to James Friel, Assistant Director at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.  Natalie Blomquist from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater was presented the WIRSA Student Award.
