The department of Recreational Sports and Services at Southern Illinois University Carbondale will be able to house students for FREE overnight accommodations at the Student Recreation Center (SRC) on Thursday, January 25 and Friday, January 26. If for some reason there is a need to stay overnight in the SRC on Wednesday, January 24, please email Justine Morneau at morne1ja@gmail.com about this inquiry. The following facilities and amenities are available to our overnight guests:

• Breakfast beginning at 7:30 a.m. on Friday, January 26 and Saturday, January 27
• Individual shower and restroom stalls in men’s and women’s locker rooms
• Private and inclusive changing rooms
• Towel service (recommended to bring your own)
• Charging stations
• Individual lockers available on a first come, first serve basis

Students staying overnight at the SRC are encouraged to bring bedding (i.e. sheets, blankets, pillows, inflatable mattresses, etc.) and personal toiletry items (toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, towels, etc.).  Upon arrival, overnight guests will need to sign a liability waiver at registration check-in.  Additionally, curfew is set at 12 midnight for all SRC overnight guests.
