Silent Auction & Food Pantry

Food Pantry

What is the Food Pantry?

This year, the Region III Student Lead On Conference will show it’s gratitude to Southern Illinois University Carbondale by showcasing a state against state competition to fill the Saluki Food Pantry! The Saluki Food Pantry provides food assistance to students in times of need, helping them stay in school and meet their educational goals. Each student that walks through the doors of the Saluki Food Pantry will receive 3 days worth of food for every head in their household. What a powerful and sustainable way to support students in the Saluki community!

Food Pantry Point System

How will the friendly state vs. state competition work? Below is a point system for the types of items the Saluki Food Pantry is looking for. The high demand items are the ones with the most points. Turn your items in during registration check-in and we will tally the points up! The winning state will be announced during the conference.
